Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using Vectanex applications ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
1. Service Description
Vectanex provides AI-powered workflow automation applications for Atlassian Jira, including but not limited to:
- •Smart Issue Templates - AI-driven template management and automation
- •Smart Recurring Tasks - Automated recurring issue creation with intelligent scheduling
Our applications are built on Atlassian's Forge platform, a serverless infrastructure that ensures secure data handling. The Service accesses and processes data from your Jira instance, including boards, issues, projects, users, and custom fields. All data is stored within Atlassian's infrastructure, and we do not have direct access to your stored information.
2. User Obligations
You agree to:
- •Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- •Provide accurate and complete configuration information
- •Maintain the security of your Jira administrator credentials
- •Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- •Not use the Service to transmit malicious code or engage in harmful activities
- •Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
3. Data Ownership & Intellectual Property
Your Data: You retain full ownership of all data within your Jira instance, including any templates, configurations, or content created using our Service. Vectanex claims no ownership rights to your data or any analytics derived from it.
Our Service: The Service, including all software, algorithms, features, functionality, and content, is owned by Vectanex and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
4. Warranties & Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. VECTANEX MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- •The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- •Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
- •Any defects in the Service will be corrected
- •The Service will meet your specific requirements
We disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
5. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VECTANEX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- •Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- •Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
- •Statements or conduct of any third party on the Service
- •Any other matter relating to the Service
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
6. Subscription & Payment
Vectanex applications are available through the Atlassian Marketplace. All billing, payment processing, and subscription management are handled by Atlassian in accordance with their terms and policies.
Subscription fees, if applicable, are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy. Free trial periods, if offered, may be subject to additional terms.
7. Termination
You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by uninstalling the application from your Jira instance and canceling your subscription through the Atlassian Marketplace.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the Service, other users, or our business interests.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Data stored in Forge storage will be retained according to Atlassian's data retention policies.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
